World Diamond Award Entry 1997 by jeweller Jos Peperkamp  In Europe we call this a 'monk's job'. The Dutch jeweler Jos Peperkamp had designed an entry for the World Diamond Award of 1997 in a flattened shape of a tennis ball where one half was taken out to form a hole where an arm could be put through. The bracelet was a combination of white and yellow gold, lined with fish skin and stuffed with diamonds where the metal parts were showing. This illustration is the original entry drawing and displayed not only the complexity of the design but also the possibilities and features of CorelXARA. The entry was not a winner this time, although the jury regarded the entry drawing as a piece of high quality workmanship. You can't win them all!
