©Derek Cooper Tulips Another drawing from life (or death). The tulips in the vase were decidedly past their best when I began to draw them and were really gone by the time I finished. It was developed into an unlikely illustration for the front of a menu for a Chinese Restaurant. The Chinese characters are more or less made up as they were replaced with something that said something later. If mine say anything at all I don't know what it is and I do apologise if it's rude.
