Jane In this self portrait many colour transparencies and gradient fills were used, the highlights are a little too white and need to be toned down. I approached this picture the same way as I did originally when I painted it in oils, but the truth is with Xara the same effort is not needed. This picture was achieved in about 5 hours, where as the oil painting took about five weeks.
