Black Point Group Logo This is the current version of our company logo, though as I explained in my biography, my design firm is now a group of one. Can one individual be a group?

The light bulb portion of the logo began years ago when I first started playing, er, make that working with Xara. I was intrigued by Xara's gradient transparency, a feature that was unique to Xara, before other companies that shall remain unnamed decided it was a cool feature and added it to the DRAW toolbar. Ooops! I wasn't supposed to say that.

The eye portion of the image was created for the November 1996 Trompe L'Oeil Room tutorial. The great thing about vector art is the ability to incorporate parts of one image into another. I like to think that the logo suggests visual ideas.

The original logo can be seen on the Xara Tip of the Day dialog.
