We start 1999, (and the fourth year of the Trompe L'Oeil Room tutorials), on an hopeful note that things will be OK this time next year. Who knows what will be happening in the world one year from now. But Y2K is a long time off. Or is it?

On that cheerful note, we'll begin the last year of the millennium with a challenging image, an hour glass with the last sands of 1999 slowly filtering through. I'm rather pleased with this tutorial and hope you will be too.
