Elevation Drawing This rendering was prepared to help sell our design to the client. The drawing started with lines brought in from AutoCad as a windows metafile. (Xara please provide for DXF import). I then proceeded to add elements of colour, with and without transparencies. I particularly like the distant hills in the background. This kind of drawing usually takes 12 to 16 hours of patient drawing time not counting all the AutoCad time that needed to be done first. It's not hard but it does take concentration and good layer management.
