The bitmap tracer ran hot while creating this bird illustration! All the different vector shapes were simplified and then filled by hand. My fingers hurt just thinking about it…

Xara X's transparencies made it easy to set the mood in the picture. A little bit of fractal plasma/clouds fills added some nice character.
