Diamond Ring  Not the drawing, but the illustrated item has a ring of international fame. It was the prize-winning entry for the World Diamond Award of 1995 by the Dutch jeweler and goldsmith Jos Peperkamp. He had won the prize previously and was considered a celebrity in his field of work. The ring consisted of an eccentric white golden ring structure filled with square diamonds and lined with fish skin. The horizontally placed diamond was held by a claw-like structure and reflected a maximum of light this way. The original of this drawing was a airbrush painting I did for him to be submitted to the jury. The drawing you see here is a co-production between CorelDRAW and CorelXARA. The latter always had to fall in where the first left me with my hands in my hair. This drawing also was used as a tutorial for Color Graphics Magazine.
