Millennium Diamond  This drawing is in fact the background for the next one. It is also part of the second entry of the World Diamond Award of 2000 by Jos Peperkamp from Alkmaar, Holland. The idea was to actually split a 20 carat diamond in half to symbolize the past millennium and from the crack a bundle of small diamonds should emerge like fireworks. The diamond itself is a retouched photograph I took from a piece of printed material. I copied the drawing for the definitive illustration as a bitmap and placed it transparent at the background.
