Wooden Scales Most of my work for the last few years has been for intranets or CD delivery. Issues where bandwidth is not so important. Animation for those applications typically being movies or as part of a larger application. Xara's built in Gif animation module has come in very handy in quickly prototyping visuals. The wide open ability to do what ever I wanted in the animation has proven itself invaluable.

This illustration and its animation were done completely within Xara. The ability to use bitmap fills allowed me to quickly render the object with a convincing wood texture.
