© Joe SkeesickGolden Award If you've been in the graphics field for any length of time, you're probably like me. You've got a giant bunch of felt-tip colored markers—a sizable investment—drying up in the corner from lack of use. As sad as it may be to see my investment gathering dust by my air brushes and amberlith, I certainly don't want to go back.

Typically this project would of been a quick marker rendering to visualize an award that was going to be given out to sales people. A faster, clearer better way to visualize the finished etched brass cube was Xara. With extensive use of the fractal clouds fill and transparency I was easily able to mimic the brushed metal surface of the cube. Dropping the exact wording and logo onto the cube so there was no question as to what the finished award would look like.
