Dragonfly Logo I've always loved dragonflies, but I never lived anyplace that had them. Now I live near a creek, so we have quite a few, and they come in blues, reds, and occasionally
orange. Since this was for a company that made software to help you make stained glass windows, it seemed natural to make a stained glass logo. Normally, I design very simple logos that will work in any medium, but I
knew this was for the web or color printing, so I could afford to use a lot of color. I used many different kinds of transparency from Xara, from fills to fractal clouds, and I created "jewels" for the body
and wings. I designed the typeface myself, using only circular arcs and straight lines. |
