This was another very early exercise in grappling with vector techniques. It's purely a vehicle to find out what is possible and how to alter my usual approaches to achieving various effects. It took a while to get into a lateral thinking mode in order to create effects which are instinctive in bitmap images
But once that's overcome the whole process becomes fast and highly effective. Ah...steam can be done with fractal transparencies — gottcha!
