©Derek Cooper Snail with spectacles  It should have been called 'a snail shell and some spectacles' but that didn't sound so potentially comic. A still life that grew in complexity as it went along. I was very pleased with the shell, even though it is a little oversized, but I think it was the pencil shavings and the pair of glasses that drew most comments.
