Japanese Nuvo This drawing is based on a traditional Japanese Kabuki.

With the other Japanese Nuvo series I enjoyed using patterns in the costumes, but with this piece I wanted to display Xara's magnificent handling of fills, blends and tranparencies.

The shadows created in the woman's upper costume is entirely done with fractal and circular fills, with slight tweaking with transparencies.
