Here's another trick. Zoom in on a small section in the middle (the red square) and you see just how fine Xara's resolution is!

Experiment with your own shapes! Some work better than others but each one is unique. For example, if you start with two circles side by side, filled with the default "Four color" fill, you get a simple pattern, like this:

Try other rotation amounts and patterns too! Anything that divides the 360 degrees evenly will generate cool patterns. Here are some suggestions:

90, 60, 30, 15

72, 90, 12, 6 does this!
