I used more patches (as mentioned on the previous page) and the result, shown below, is much cleaner.

Now that all the dust and scratches have been successfully removed, select the whole image (original + repaired areas) and create a bitmap copy (Arrange > Create Bitmap Copy...). Use the True Color (NO alpha) color depth setting.
