Creating A Fractal Tree in Xara X ©2004 Dmitry Malutan

First, select an appropriate fractal. You have few choices:

  • Create your own using axiom and rules, looking into 'Understanding LSVG rules' manual page
     
  • Select it from predefined fractals
     
  • Modify existing preset to obtain new form

Let's select existing preset 'PlantsByRoad'. Leave default Deep and Angle values.

Just launch Randomizer and set both regulators in middle position.

To get control on fractal structure in XARA you have to set 'Named Colors' option in the bottom of LSVG window.
 

Note: options are hidden until you press 'Option' button.
